What is a QR Code? A QR Code is a bar code that can be scanned using your camera phone and a QR Code Reader. QR codes can serve as hyperlinks to mobile content or for sending messages to a user's mobile phone. In many parts of the world the scanning of a QR Code has become the door to the mobile Internet for the average mobile user. What do we use it for? Jera Media uses a combination of text messaging and QR codes to allow for information about the property including photos to be sent directly to a users mobile phone. Why is this helpful? Imagine a potential buyer sees a for sale sign on the lawn of a home or commercial property; the typical process is as follows: 1. They can write your web address or number down on a piece of scrap paper, and hopefully they do not lose it before they contact you.
2. They can call you and request details about the property and ask general questions about the property such as: A. What is the price? B. What are the taxes? C. What school district...etc. At this point you go through a qualification process and they may request a viewing and depending on both of your schedules a viewing is scheduled. 3. You and your prospects meet and they preview the home. A. They love it and they make an offer. OR B. After seeing the interior and the back yard they tell you that it really is not what they were looking for. 4. You now have a few options, including showing them some other properties in your sales book that are available. If time permits, you may take them over to the other properties and go through the process all over again until either they find what they are looking for or they move on to another realtor. Our Process 1. The potential buyer either sends a text message or scans your QR Code and our server automatically sends them all the basic information about the property, including photos, pre-qualifies them or at the very least better educates them about your property. 2. They schedule a viewing and are close to making an offer or 3. You can send a text message or scan a QR code and show them several properties right from your cell phone.
